Information
Mackinaw Beach and Bay is a perfect jumping off point for fabulous adventures of all kinds. From great boutique shopping, free laser shows and concerts, historic Mackinac Island, and Fort Mackinac, to Colonial Michilimackinac, lighthouse tours, fabulous eateries, and Mill Creek Discovery Park, you'll find excitement and fun at every turn in the immediate area surrounding the resort.

Inspired by the Splendor of the Great Lakes! Much of the resort is dedicated to enjoying the water, both inside and out. Relax—and take a break from your adventures on Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, and the surrounding area. Put your feet up and enjoy the ambiance.

Our large beach provides you with 600" of private quiet and restful enjoyment. Experience a gorgeous sunrise, take a cooling dip in the Great Lakes, or watch your family as they have fun in the play area.

From the beach you'll see the Mackinac Bridge on the left, glistening in the morning sun or lit up against the sky at night. Also on your left, you'll spot the new Icebreaker Mackinaw Maritime Museum. This 290 foot long ship was decommissioned in June '06 and is now open to the public for exploration and tours. Straight ahead lies Mackinac Island, and on most days you can actually see the Grand Hotel high on the south facing bluff. Sweep your eyes eastward to your right and take in uninhabited Round Island and rustic Bois Blanc Island. You're likely to also see wildlife including beautiful swans or majestic cranes.
