Offering a one-of-a-kind look into the private lives of Edsel Ford – the only son of Henry and Clara Ford – his wife Eleanor, and their children at their lakeside estate, a guided tour of their private sanctuary brings you into the same rooms they called home. The Fords’ carefully designed and curated home also reveals their deep love for art and design, from architecture and landscape to their impressive personal collection of art and antiques.

Ford House is conveniently located 12 miles north of downtown Detroit just off I-94 in southeast Michigan. Guided tours of the home are offered daily with flexible hours and evening tours available when booked in advance. Closed January through March. Plan 2-3 hours for a guided tour of the home and grounds and a visit to the museum shop.
